1. Grouper Rig
Best for: Grouper, Warsaw grouper, snowy grouper, gag grouper and other large bottom fish.
A heavy-duty 2 or single-hook, squid rig designed for targeting powerful reef species. Built with premium 200-400lb mono leader, heavy-duty terminal hardware, and a strong size 10/0 circle hook capable of handling large live or cut baits. This rig is ideal for fishing hard structure where maximum strength and abrasion resistance are essential.
2. Tilefish & Queen Snapper Rig (2-Hooks Long Branch)
Best for: Golden tilefish, blueline tilefish, queen snapper, barrelfish and other deep-water species.
This two-hook deep-drop rig features extra-long 12-inch branch droppers that keep baits separated from the main leader for a natural presentation and fewer tangles. The longer branches allow both baits to move freely, making it an excellent choice when targeting tilefish and deep-water snappers over mud or rocky bottom.
3. Basic 5-Hook Deep Drop Rig
Best for: Blackbelly rosefish, snowy grouper, deep-water porgies and mixed bottom species.
Our most popular 5 hooks deep-drop rig. Featuring five evenly spaced hooks, this rig maximizes bait presentation while covering multiple depths above the bottom. It’s an excellent all-around choice for anglers looking to fill the cooler with quality deep-water fish and is especially productive on blackbelly rosefish.
4. Squid 5-Hook Rig
Best for: Blackbelly rosefish, queen snapper, yellowedge grouper, tilefish and other deep-water species.
Designed with glowing squid skirts that add extra attraction in the dark depths of the Atlantic Ocean and Gulf of America. The skirts create additional movement and visibility, helping fish locate your bait in low-light conditions while still allowing the use of natural bait on each hook.
5. Bullet Style 5-Hook Rig
Best for: Queen snapper, yellowedge grouper, barrelfish, rosefish and other deep-water predators.
Built with glow bullet heads above each hook to provide additional flash and attraction during deep drops. The streamlined bullet design minimizes drag while giving each bait a highly visible target in deep water. A great choice when fish respond to extra visual stimulation.
6. Chicken Rig (3, 4 or 5 Hooks)
Best for: Vermilion snapper (beeliners), yelloweye snapper, silk snapper, lane snapper and other schooling bottom fish.
