Why E-Glass for deep dropping?

E Series: traditional deep drop rods
The E Series is Crowder’s core traditional deep drop line, in two lengths.

DD series (6 ft): DD50, DD80, DD130. These are the full-size traditional deep drop rods. The DD80 and DD130 use Aftco Big Foot roller guides, the classic choice for heavy braid and wire under a big electric reel, on curved uni-butts sized to the line class (#4 and #6).
