The last point is a real advantage for anglers flying to fish. Many airlines allow lithium batteries under 100Wh in carry-on without approval, and batteries over 160Wh are generally not allowed. Always check your airline’s current rules before you fly.
Amp-hours vs watt-hours
Reel batteries are sold in amp-hours (Ah), but watt-hours (Wh) is the better measure of how much energy a pack holds, because it accounts for voltage. Battery care and safety
