Jigging Master is a Taiwanese jigging brand better known for its reels and rods than its jigs. Still, it makes several jigs built for slow jigging. The one many anglers know is the Fallings Special, sold in 100 g and 135 g packs, which shares its name with Jigging Master’s Fallings Special slow pitch rod. The current US range is led by the Breathing Devil Eye, which Evike calls “the ultimate slow jigging jig,” and the Diamond VIP, which Jigging Master says suits “both slow pitch and high pitch jigging.”
Jigging Master publishes weights but little else, and US prices were hard to pin down. This review covers what we could confirm.

Jigging Master has two linked businesses. In the US, Jigging Master, Inc. is at 2801 W. Mission Road, Alhambra, CA 91803 ((626) 407-0540, Monday–Friday 9am–5pm Pacific). Its authorized US dealer is Evike.com, which sells the gear through its fishing department. In Taiwan, JMaster is based in Taipei. The company calls itself a “pioneer of the jigging style fishing since 1997.”

Fallings Special jig

The Fallings Special is an older Jigging Master slow jig. Jigging Master’s Taiwan site had a page titled “2012 Fallings Special Jigs,” which suggests the design dates from around 2012, but that page no longer loads. We found it only at Australian and New Zealand retailers.

Prices September 2026. Marine-Deals in New Zealand and Australia also lists the 100 g as the “Fallings Special Slow Pitch Jig.”
Compleat Angler describes the 100 g as a slow-fall jig “for slow pitch and long fall jigging techniques” with “a wide, flat profile that creates an exaggerated fluttering fall,” and the 135 g as having an “elongated profile.” Those are retailer descriptions. Jigging Master doesn’t publish length, hook or color specs for the Fallings Special that we could find.
Don’t mix it up with the rod. Most US search results for “Fallings Special” are for the Evo Fallings Special slow pitch rod, not the jig.
Breathing Devil Eye

This is Jigging Master’s most slow-pitch-focused jig. Evike describes it this way: “The Breathing Devil Eye jig simulates breathing fish under water making the jig hard to resist and more lifelike. Simulating the action of a falling leaf combined with 30 years of battle experiences, this is the final form of the ultimate slow jigging jig.” German dealer GT-Fishing lists it as a slow jig with patented “pectoral fins.”

GT-Fishing lists it at €29.90–€39.90 with a length of 9–12 cm, September 2026. Evike lists luminous and electroplated finishes but didn’t display a price on the pages we read.
Diamond VIP (Long and Short)

Jigging Master says the Diamond VIP is “made to sink and cut through the water quickly and efficiently while at the same time not feel heavy when jigging,” and is “suitable for both slow pitch and high pitch jigging.” Maguro Pro Shop lists an 8-facet patented design and a center-balanced body that flattens and rotates as it falls. Evike also sells a 2025 Limited Edition Classic Diamond VIP in Long and Short.

For deep drop water, the 400–600 g sizes are the interesting ones. Only Ocean’s Legacy’s Deep Contact goes heavier among the Australian and Taiwanese brands in this guide.
Gangster Jig
The Gangster Jig (Tri-Facet Laser / Anodized) is Jigging Master’s answer to strong current. Evike’s description says most slow jigging jigs lack speed and center of gravity, which makes them ineffective in strong currents, and the Gangster Jig is built to fix that. We saw it at Evike in 100, 150 and 200 g, in luminous and electroplated finishes. Jigging Master doesn’t publish lengths.
2026 Gangster Devil Jig

JMaster’s newest jig is a hydrodynamic design with a steady side-to-side rocking action. JMaster says it does two jobs: tied from the front eyelet it swims like a spoon for trolling or slow pitch jigging, and tied from the tail it works as a fast-pitch or long-fall jig. At 40–120 g it’s a shallow-water and light-current jig, not a deep drop jig.
UFO Violent Slow Jig

JMaster built the UFO Violent Slow for bottom fish in pressured water. It has a buoyant, floating fall and a 30% luminous coating. The product page dates from 2016, so it’s an older model and may be hard to find in US shops, but the 200–400 g sizes suit Florida’s deeper ledges.
Tungsten jigs
Jigging Master doesn’t make a tungsten jig. We checked the full JIG & LURE list on JMaster’s Taiwan site (English and Chinese pages) and the Jigs & Lures catalog on jiggingmaster.com. Every jig listed is a standard jig, and none is described as tungsten, TG or 鎢 (the Chinese word for tungsten). The newest jig, the 2026 Gangster Devil, isn’t tungsten either, and we found no announcement of a tungsten model.
If you want tungsten for deep Florida ledges, you’ll need another brand. Jigging Master’s lead jigs above, such as the Diamond VIP up to 600 g, are its answer to deep water and strong current.

Jigging Master doesn’t say whether its jigs ship with assist hooks on the pages we read, so plan to rig them yourself. The company sells its own Violent Slow Jigging Hooks through Evike, and GT-Fishing recommends BKK Lentus 4/0 to 5/0 for the Breathing Devil Eye.

Verdict
Jigging Master’s jigs make most sense if you already fish its reels and rods. The Breathing Devil Eye is a true slow jig with a falling-leaf action, the Diamond VIP covers slow and high pitch up to 600 g for deep, fast water, and the Gangster Jig is built for current. The weak points are thin specs, US prices that are hard to see without calling Evike, and a Fallings Special jig that’s mostly sold in Australia and New Zealand. Buy it for the heavy sizes and the matching gear, not for convenience.
